Search My Stuff What's New 3 12 24 Received a PCN from council, could I also get points? A couple of weeks ago I turned into a road which recently became no entry. For years it has been 2 way but now the council has decided it would be a good idea to make the first part no entry it becomes 2 way again part-way down.
Anyway when I realised what I had done I turned around and went around the block the correct way! Today I received a PCN from the council who's mobile camera van had spotted me. I paid the fine as it's pointless arguing. Question is, could I receive penalty points as well? Not from the council but from the Police? I'll tell my insurance anyway to be on the safe side. According to my customer who lives in that road "they wait in camera vans, usually in the morning, and get loads of people".
That's what they told me afterwards. Totally pointless making one entrance one way as the road doesn't go anywhere. I'm sure it wasn't done just to generate revenue The council won't inform the police. Don't tell your insurance, there is no need, or legal requirement, but you can bet they would find a way to use it against you come renewal time. CaptainMorgan 1, posts months. Sulfa drugs and injectable penicillin oral PCN was not available until I am by no means a technical expert on the subject, but I will give the basic information that I have learned by working in numerous pharmacies.
Rx "BIN" refers to Bank Identification Number, which basically routes electronic pharmacy insurance claims in the right general direction. I'll give a generalized example. When I am setting up my computer system to bill a new insurance, I must first add the BIN, which is a six digit numerical code.
There may be many different companies using the same BIN, though; so I then add the PCN to specify exactly how I want the claim to be billed electronically. The PCN does not have a consistent format. I've seen everything from eight digit numerical codes to a single letter and number put together.
When someone drops off an insurance card at a pharmacy, these are some of the things for which the technicians will search. Unfortunately, there is no standardization among cards, and not all insurance companies have the decency to print the BIN or PCN on the card. This is why some people have more problems than others when trying to get their insurance cards to work at the pharmacy.
